Biography

Il Gelso Nero is the union between the Mantuan culinary tradition and the International Fusion cuisine characteristic of Chef Faruk Neziri.

In the dishes the refinement of every detail blends with the colors and scents of the elements.

Faruk Neziri, aka Fabio, was born in 1974 in Bihac. He developed his training near Belgrade and then in Macedonia. After moving to Rome he met and got to know high-caliber figures in the professional gastronomic field.
After several experiences in Italy and abroad, on October 6, 2019 he officially opened “Il Gelso Nero”, a restaurant that blends the Mantuan tradition with the “Fusion” cuisine characteristic of the Chef.
