Biography

San Corrado di Noto, a charming luxury resort in Sicily, is located amidst the captivating scenery of the Val di Noto.
An ancient noble residence and farmhouse has been transformed into an idyllic place, a wonderful all-inclusive resort built in perfect harmony with nature. The collection of spacious suites and villas is designed to offer the highest level of comfort and well-being, where the relaxing, prestigious atmosphere enhances both the vibrant colours of Sicilian tradition and the most modern and innovative comforts.

Sicily’s rich culinary tradition has developed over centuries of influences and encounters with other countries and cultures.
Dining at one of the two restaurants means embarking on a journey that begins right in Noto and embraces the entire island of Sicily. A complete experience, where ancient flavours, sophisticated and innovative techniques, a passion for perfection and the joy of life blend together perfectly.

Martin Lazarov was born in a small town in Macedonia on February 17, 1995, and at just 4 months old, moved with his family to Piedmont, Italy. He attended culinary school in Mondovì, after which he began working in the kitchens of many gourmet restaurants in the Langhe area.
His career continued as private chef for families and renowned personalities, including the famous designer Valentino. Driven by passion and curiosity, he became Executive Chef at Castello di Guarene, and today he leads the two restaurants of Il San Corrado di Noto, a five-star luxury Relais & Châteaux resort, commanding an impressive brigade of 20 chefs: the gourmet restaurant Principe di Belludia and the more casual Casa Pasta.
His cuisine is undoubtedly creative: he has the soul of an artist, and for him, beauty and flavour must carry the same importance.
