The Drogheria earned the prestigious title for representing, through the years, two gastronomic excellences to its loyal clientele: Calvisius caviar and champagne of the French maison Louis Roederer.
In the coming months a network of ten selected venues, including restaurants, wine bars and wine shops will be created with the specific purpose of spreading the knowledge and having a wider audience appreciate the wonderful combination of these two excellent products.
In particular, chef Pierri has been appointed ambassador for his refined interpretation of a major Italian gastronomic excellence, always showcased in his recipes and presented to his customers.
On the occasion of the sought-election on May 17, 2014, Pierri prepared a tasting menu for the patrons of his restaurant that included finger food made with caviar Calvisius Tradition, Oscietra Royal, Siberian, and Da Vinci, and some dishes embellished with the innovative “lingotto”.
This sophisticated food was perfectly paired with the most classic champagne.
